Executive Sous Chef: Nate MercerA native of Conway, SC, Nate discovered his love and talent for cooking in 2005 when he began working at The Piedmont Club in Spartanburg. After culinary school, Nate moved to Greenville and began working with Jesse Thompson, chef de cuisine of Restaurant O. He has had the honor to work with renowned chefs such as Scott Crawford and Sean Brock. Nate continues to raise the bar on work ethic and finesse in the kitchen at Azia – where he and Executive Chef Bo Wilder have become a perfect team.
